Stop. Just pause for a moment & look around you. The things around you. The people around you. Do they make you happy? Or do they make you feel odd and worthless? Do they make you smile? Or do they make you cry? Do you blame them for all the difficulties you’re going through? Or do you blame yourself for being such a disappointment?

Do you know why you’re living? Or what you’re living for? Do you even want to live in the first place?

Because; there are thousands of people dying right now, at this very moment. Be it by illness, accident, or even suicide – but the death of a person means the death of their dreams, of their wishes, their regrets, their past successes and their past failures – the death of a person who has fully lived their life to the maximum.

But what about those who didn’t get to succeed? Who didn’t get to witness their miracles? Those who didn’t get experience the beauty of love, friendship, family, and heartbreak? The ones who are aborted – they’re killed even before their lives begin – they don’t get the chance to feel the wonderful wind, see the sea or eat ice lollies. They don’t get to live at all.

But you do. No matter what you’re going through, be it heartbreak, failure or whatever, be it whatever, you are lucky enough, because you’ve got the greatest miracle of all – a life.

So go out there and live it. Live it.

Maybe there are thousands dying right now. Now. But guess what? You’re still living; you’re still breathing, arent you? You get to listen to beautiful music, you get to sing your heart out, eat as much as you want, and do whatever you like – you get to do whatever you want to do, feel whatever you want to feel, see whatever you want to see. Understand the importance of that.

So the next time you think of picking up a blade, smile to yourself & change your mind – you can do it. :)

So, I was taking a walk with my best friend this evening at the park. Its just this green place where we usually find kids chasing each other around or people enjoying picnics and other things which make us smile. I love going there because that’s the only place where I find kids laughing and people SO happy that it makes me wonder if they even have actual problems in their lives. So, yeah, back to today’s walk, we found these little kids on the sideway, one little girl on the bike, and all the other kids screaming at her for not giving in for some mischief they all planned to do. We kept walking. I then heard they scream, “We don’t need you! Go away! Go away or else, we call the cops!”, so I walked back, waved at her, and said, “Hey, wanna walk with us?” “No.” “They’re not your real friends, maybe you should play with someone else.” “Okay.” She just went away with a frown. Maybe she did’nt want to hangout with us because of the “Don’t talk to strangers” thing, but anyway.

See? If little, innocent kids try to stab each other with hurtful words for silly reasons, then think about what we are doing! Let it be the Gaza issue, or the India-Pak war or people blaming Islam for terrorism, let it be anything, simple or complex, we are hurting each other, with words or swords, but that’s all we all are doing. We just pretend to care for people just so that we don’t feel lonely. We make friends and have relationships, just so that we are not alone, who cares about other people right? All we need to worry about is, if you have people to be with, or not.

I once went for this Personality Development workshop. We did this activity where we all had balloons and we were asked to burst everybody else’s balloon without getting yours burst. While playing, all I found was that everybody just wanted to burst others’ balloons without even caring about theirs’. It was just weird watching them, because I then realized that, that’s how the real world is. That all people want to do, is defeat each other, like, practically kill them.

Some might say that my perceptions are just wrong. That people are not that way. That people care. That, there is love and compassion in this world. That everything about this world is beautiful.

Maybe its just me, but I strongly believe that this world will stop rotting one day, that there will be peace, if we all just stop being selfish and think for a second about what’s happening around. There will be harmony if we, actually, for once, start caring for each other and not fight to be the best. Yes, we should compete, but with ourselves, so that we can be the best we can ever be. Competing with others leads to bigger issues.

So yeah, if we want peace, we should have peace from within ourselves, care for each other, stop fighting and just live life without hurting a single soul. And that’s when the world would turn into a better place to live. And that’s when we FINALLY would be able to live happily ever after. (:

മോളായി , ചേച്ചിയായി , അനുജത്തിയായി അമ്മയായി പിന്നെ വിവിധ professionals ആയും പല Role കളില്‍ സ്ത്രീകളെ കാണാന്‍ പറ്റുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നത് ഇതില്‍ ഏറ്റവും admirable ആയിട്ടുള്ളത് അമ്മയുടേതാണ് കാരണം,

ഒരു കുട്ടിയുടെ ജനനത്തിനും, വളര്‍ച്ചക്കും പിന്നിലുള്ള ഒരമ്മയുടെ കഷ്ടപ്പാട് എനിക്ക് നേരിട്ടനുഭവപ്പെട്ടത് വീട്ടില്‍ പുതിയ ഉണ്ണി ഉണ്ടായപ്പോളാണ്.

ഒരു കുട്ടിയുടെ കുറ്റോം കുറവുമെല്ലാം മനസ്സിലാക്കി accept ചെയ്യുന്നതും അതു നികത്താന്‍ വേണ്ടി ഏറ്റവും help ചെയ്യുന്നതും അമ്മതന്നെ.

ദൈവത്തിനെപ്പോഴും എല്ലായിടവും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാന്‍ പറ്റാത്തതിനാലാമ്മയെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചതെന്ന് കേട്ടിട്ടില്ലേ , ശരിക്കും ദൈവത്തിന്‍‌റ്റെ പ്രതിനിധിതന്നെയാണമ്മ.

ബ്ളൊഗില്‍ ഒന്നും എഴുതാന്‍ കിട്ടാതിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

"നിനക്കെന്തെങ്കിലും കഥ അറിയുമോ " ഞാന്‍ അനിയനോട്‌ ചോദിച്ചു.

അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങി. ‘റ്റൈഗറിനു നല്ല വിശപ്പ്‌.വീട്ടില്‍ കഴിക്കാനൊന്നുമില്ല.റ്റൈഗര്‍ അടുത്തുള്ള ലയണിണ്റ്റെ വീട്ടില്‍ പോയി ചോദിച്ചു:"ടാ ഇവിടെ കഴിക്കാന്‍ എന്തെങ്കിലുമുണ്ടോ".

ഉടനെ ലയണ്‍"ഇവിടെ ഒന്നുമില്ല.നമുക്കു പുറത്തു പോയി കഴിക്കാം.

അവര്‍ ഹോട്ടലില്‍ പോയി പൊറോട്ടയും ചിക്കന്‍ കറിയും കഴിച്ചു.കൊടുക്കാന്‍ പൈസയില്ല.അടുത്തുള്ള സിറ്റിബാങ്കില്‍ നിന്നും പൈസയെടുത്ത്‌ കൊടുത്തു.

എനിക്കു വയ്യ ഇനി പറയാന്‍ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ്‌ അവന്‍ റ്റീവി കാണാന്‍ പോയി.
